DAY 1 - SET UP DAY
Our incubator is all warmed up and ready for eggs. 28 assorted eggs are in and the magic now begins. Check out the progress on Day 7 and 14!!!
DAY 7 CANDLING.
Out of 28 eggs 26 were viable and progressing great. 2 showed blood rings and were discarded. Check out Day 14, you will be amazed at the difference.......
DAY 14 CANDLING DAY
Day 14, candling again. We have great progress happening. ALL 26 eggs are looking awsome, we even have some movement, you can see the little embryos jumping around!!!......
Come back on Day 18 for lockdown!!!
DAY 18 - LOCKDOWN.
We have taken all the eggs out of the turner and placed them back in the incubator in groups. We have 25 eggs lets see how many chicks we get.

DAY 21 - HATCHING HAS STARTED
Hatching has started!!!!
This little guy just hatched and is not sure about this big world he or she has just entered into. More siblings are arriving as I type.
DAY 23 - FINAL COUNT
What a great hatch.....this has been one of my most successful hatches. I ended up with a clutch of 21 fluffy butts. 4 needed a little assistance and are all doing great.
These chicks are a mix of Salmon Favorelle and Barn Yard Mix. Their daddy is a Salmon Favorelle. They will be so cute as they grow and will lay coloured eggs once they mature.
